Methven Big Air/Blue Pub
The return of the Methven Big Air on Saturday 26 September 2009 drew an audience of over 5000 eager spectators and they were certainly not disappointed. The action packed night, including spectacular fireworks, continued into the night with more than 2000 party goers rocked to the beats of the bands headlined by top act ElemenoP.
Along with regular site visits from our experienced Operations Manager to ensure that the event security would run smoothly, RYAN Security provided 20 staff to manage all aspects of security for the event and an additional 8 staff to manage the after party at the Blue Pub.

Adidas Auckland Marathon
For the second year in a row RYAN Security has provided security services for the adidas Auckland Marathon, one of New Zealand's premier road races attracting more than 13,000 competitors with people from throughout Auckland, New Zealand and overseas running along some of Auckland's most scenic terrain.
Working alongside other security providers in a joint approach to cover the event RYAN Security provided manpower security for the Marathon Finish Area, Victoria Park and Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Burger King NZ Breakers
In 2009 RYAN Security secured a two year sponsor and supplier agreement as the "Official Partner - Security Services" for the Burger King NZ Breakers who play in Australian National Basketball League. RYAN Security provide full game day security services including a minimum of 11 staff at the North Shore Events Centre and Risk Consulting services for NZ Breakers management team outside of these key events.
RYAN Security is proud to be an official supporter and to be the exclusive security provider for the organisation throughout New Zealand.

FSN Fight Sports Night
RYAN Security was there for the inaugural Fight Sports Night (FSN) held in Christchurch, a professional sporting event showcasing New Zealand's elite pro fight sports athletes together on the same night. Fight Sports Night (FSN) is an exciting combination of multiple disciplines featuring Kickboxing, MMA & Pro Boxing all on the same show!
RYAN Security provided 12 staff along with extensive pre-event advisory services to ensure the event ran smoothly and we are looking forward to once again being involved in the second event already scheduled for early 2010.

Chemistry Dance Party - Auckland Town Hall (Part of The EDGE)
Chemistry, quoted as "New Zealand's clubbing phenomenon", RYAN Security was there for what was another stunning night of sensory overload featuring what many describe as Auckland's best dance party production including intelligent lighting, big-screen visuals and Psyklonic mirrored objects, combined with a massive, out-of-this-world and multi full-colour M2 laser show!
RYAN Security is the exclusive security provider for The EDGE, who along with the Auckland Town Hall manages the Aotea Centre, the Civic and Aotea Square. We show our flexibility by working alongside the EDGE's security brand and wear their event specific uniforms.
For this event RYAN Security provided 35 staff from 9pm to 6am covering a variety of security roles including access control, venue security and VIP security for the 2000+ crowd.

Eureka Trust World Buskers Festival
Since 2007 and again booked in for 2010, RYAN Security has provided the security services for this iconic 11 day festival showcasing 47 acts performing more than 450 street and stage shows across multiple venues throughout Christchurch, with an estimated number of people enjoying the performances of over 250,000 during the festival.
RYAN Security completes over 1500 security hours in manpower and additional advisory services as well as training to Buskers staff around the Sale of Liquor Act, assisting with pack-in and pack-out each day, monitoring of performers and equipment and 24hr site security for performance areas.

The White Ferns New Zealand Woman's Cricket Series
An international woman's cricket series between New Zealand, England and Australia played at the Burt Sutcliffe Oval situated outside Christchurch in Lincoln University. RYAN Security provided over 330 staff-hours during the series with both event staff and 24 hour security on the oval and pavilion areas during the tournament series.

UNESCO (United Nations) World Heritage Committee 2007
The nine-day meeting held in Christchurch involved 800 participants and observers from the 178 State agencies and 21 countries. For RYAN Security as the appointed Security Coordinator involved over 9 months of planning for this high-profile event and required the integration of key agencies including NZ Aviation Service, NZ Customs, NZ Security and Intelligence Service, NZ Police, Department of Conservation and the Department of Immigration.
RYAN Security also provided the manpower security services for the event involving over 3,000 staff-hours at the various venues utilised throughout the meeting. Key requirements included access control, VIP and delegate transportation, venue security, delegate accreditation, management of the event security plan, Health and Safety risk assessments and function security.

Kiwi Safaris - UAE Royal Visit
Visit by United Arab Emirates (UAE) Royal Family including entourage of over 30 staff and friends to share and provide services to the royal family member located in a remote South Canterbury setting (due to confidentiality restrictions we are unable to disclose further details on the event).
RYAN Security provided 24 hour close protection, transport management and venue access security encompassing over 500 staff-hours completed. Additional pre-event planning was completed involving risk assessments, development of detailed security operational plans that required inter-agency cooperation and sign-off by the Royal Family. Staff where requested to be out of uniform for the duration of the contract.
