Jayson Ryan - Managing Director.
Founder of RYAN Security and Consulting Limited back in 2005 after completing over 15 years of experience in senior national security roles, Jayson is recognised both nationally and internationally as a leader in the security industry and his knowledge is sort after by a number of high profile organisations throughout the country including Security Consultant for the All Blacks, New Zealand Cricket, the New Zealand Government and a number of high profile private businesses.
Jayson has built a reputation for service excellence and professionalism with an in-depth industry experience across the country, Jayson maintains an active involvement in the New Zealand security industry and has been an active member of the New Zealand Charter for the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) including currently participating in the current review of the ‘Proposed changes to the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974’ and a founding member off the committee for the Christchurch CBD Alcohol Accord.
Andrei Martin - General Manager.
Andrei joined RYAN Security and Consulting in late 2006 having over 10 years experience in the Security and Project Management Industry, including holding CIMS (Co-ordinated Incident Management Systems) high level qualifications designed for those deemed to be the Lead Agency in an emergency situation.
Andrei has managed a number of high profile projects and promotions ranging from event and security management of small community activities to large scale concerts with over 100,000 people in attendance. As well as security management and game-day stadium control of iconic NZ venues in both Christchurch and Dunedin, Andrei also possesses a detailed background and university qualifications in workplace Health and Safety and Injury Prevention and is happy to assist in developing your planning requirements.
Kerry Shaw – Operations Manager (Nelson/Marlborough)
Kerry has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. A keen sportsman Kerry has represented Nelson Bays Rugby from 1987-1999 as well as gaining his black belt in combat hapkido where he has continued teaching classes adding his valued industry experience, diverse background and extensive local knowledge to ensure the smooth function of our Nelson/Marlborough operations.
Jason McPhee – Operations Manager (Wellington)
Jason joined RYAN Security as Operations Manager in Wellington in 2007. Jason’s background is over 16 years with the NZ Police where he has completed senior roles including: Personal Protection Officer for the VIP Protection Squad, positions in the Technical Surveillance Unit, Crime Control Unit and other training roles.
Following the Police, Jason has been employed within the private security industry for 4 years maintaining and supervising many static sites and patrols including Peter Jackson and WETA studio’s and film sites, completing risk assessments and investigations as required. Jason brings to RYAN Security and Consulting valuable experience within the areas of specialist uniformed guarding, security consultancy and close protection work and he is also a qualified NZQA Security trainer.
Phillip Moeke - Operations Manager (Auckland)
Phil’s operational experience from working in the security industry since 1998 and in the hospitality industry in various roles provides us with the core fundamentals that our business is built on.
Phil’s hands-on approach has seen him more than double our Auckland Operations in a short period and establish a number of long-term relationships with some leading Auckland venues. Phil has also assisted with the recent ‘Conflict Management for the Security Industry’ training held with both RYAN Security and Consulting staff and staff members from the Edge Management Group in Auckland.
Hayden Wilmott – Staff Supervisor/Staff Trainer
A founding staff member of RYAN Security back in 2005 Hayden has been in the security industry since 2000. As well as a fulltime supervisor of our hospitality division in Christchurch Hayden is RYAN Security’s ‘Control and Restraint’ trainer, where he is responsible for teaching Police approved techniques to all staff at varying levels nationally.
Hayden has 6 martial Arts clubs around the South Island and has been teaching specialist classes for the last 15 years and has 20 years of personal training experience.
